Braveheart

Before Mel Gibson was famous for going berserk on his Russian Baby-Momma or tirading about how the Jew rule Hollywood, he ruled Hollywood. His "most bestest" movie ever was Braveheart. This ancient Scottish dude really hated the King of England (who didn't?) for killing his hot-babe-of-a wife. So he goes completely Gorilla Poop on every Englishter he can lay his mitts on.
Everybody say FREEEDOMMMMM!

Drag Me to Hell

Innocent girl has to decide what to do. This Creepy instant classic is like the movies we used to watch at the Drive-in. Lots of jolts. Great to watch in a theater full of people. This little bank employee chick is competing with a real jerk for a promotion. Her Manager is watching as a poor, dirty, stinky old crone begs her not to repo her house.
What choice will she make?

By Sam Raimi - Starring Alison Lohma

Fandango

Kevin Reynolds, who later directed the mega-budget Kevin Costner flop Water World, Did much better with Costner on a tiny budget. The Groovers are some dudes graduating. While celebrating in their flop house Kostner suggests they go Dig up ole Dom. That means a trip across Texas, dodging the draft and a stone soup wedding. Marvin J Mcintyre is fantastic as skydive instructor Truman Sparks.

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Swashbuckling action done right! Steven Spielberg Directed this George Lucas Story about an dude who found the Ark of the Covenant (the one Moses made and GOD lives in) just as Hitler's henchmen planned to heist it to power up the Third Reich. The whole Indiana Jones Series is funand should be a part of every dude's Movie Library.

Raising Arizona

The only people who don't love this movie are the ones who think it is a documentary. This Dude named Hi gets out of jail and proposes to a cute jailer chick. Then she demands "I need me a baby, Hi!" Great performances by Nicholas Cage, Holly Hunter and Randal "Tex" Cobb. Perfect use of both precise dialog and meticulous camera work Ensure that not a word or a single frame of film was wasted.

The Quiet Man

The classic tale of Sean "Trooper" Thornton (John Wayne). This dude returns to his homeland to buy a plot of land and snag a wife. The wife is a firey redhead named Mary Kate Danaher( Maureen O'Hara), sister to "Red" (Victor McLaglen) the town bully, who also has his eyes on Sean's plot o'land. There's plenty of fun in this bit of eyre.

Tron

The genesis of Computer Animation. Frame by frame animation over live characters. This 1982 story of a dude who gets sucked into a computer sounds lame but is a geeks wonderland. The animation really freaked people out back in the day and still looks very cool. Don't confuse this with the new pic which is a sequel and should be watched, but not until you've seen the original at least 8 times.
